This patch includes check_new_version(myversion, version_URL) in
gluon/admin.py too, so other apps can check if there are updates.
/admin/controllers/default.py now uses it.
Massimo, you need to gzip {examples,welcome,admin}.tar, rename to .w2p
and commit them.
