Hi Noob,

There are benefits of having a documentation project started from the
community. The main benefit is that is shows skeptics this is no
longer a one man project. I get a lot of emails from companies who are
interested in using web2py but are skeptical about long term
development. This list is one way to show that there are many experts
around but it is not the only means.

I am also considering creating a certification program for developers.

About the other issues below:
* Ask Massimo to improve the look of his web site;
I am all for it. I am not a good CSS designer and frankly I would
rather spend the time doing something else. You have "examples" (the
source for the web site) if you propose a better one I will use it.

* Update the cookbook;
You can ask me the source of any document I created (other than the
book) and I will give it to you.

* Update the manual;
Which manual?

* Publish the new book as PDF;
I am talking with the editor about this. Having a published book has
advatages, gives weight to the project. It also has restrictions
because I lose control of distributions. I am talking to them. They
have a way to make PDF but it would still have copy protections. I am
trying to find out what they are. They do not understand that my
interest is to have the book circulate as much as possible, not
protect people from copying. I do not care about making money but they
do. I make so little that it is irrelevant, for them it is a business.

* Ask for his time to solve MANY coding problems;
Aren't you doing this laready? ;-)

* Moan about the flash bar in the editor being annoying (ME=);
I love the flash bar but you can simply make your own web2py_ajax.html
and remove it.

Massimo
