Things that don't make sense.
We know that Mayberry was a small town. We could see it with our eyes and
people spoke of it.
However, when Goober goes for his first date with Lydia, he walks up to her
house and the house number on her door is 598. There would have to be a
whole lot of houses in that block for her house to be numbered 598. I live
in a small town of less than 10,000 people, and on almost all of our blocks the
houses start with 00, like 500, 600, etc. The last house on that block is
never more that 20 or 30 something. Most of the time the numbers move by
2's. 902, 904, 906. It would take almost every house in Mayberry to go
from 500 to 598.
