Just finished the Darlings are coming when I noticed two things: first, the building directly behind the David Mendlebright Memorial Horse Trough has a nice set of double doors with heavy duty plate and door knobs, yet the door is secured with a padlock. What I figure is that ths was a complete building and not just a facade and was used for storage on the "40" acre lot. just a guess, but I can't see any other reason why a Mayberry structure would be padlocked.
Secondly, Andy mentions the stoplight when giving directions to Brisco Darling.
