There are particular topics that need to be covered in this report. It is a report about the status of the project and community, not about the quality or otherwise of the codebase. >From my perspective, Wave has not added any new committers for quite some time, has yet to make a release, and the level of activity of the current committers is low, while having been in incubation for over two years. To my mind, I wonder whether Wave is a viable project from an ASF perspective. It seems we have a couple of choices: * there are some projects out there that depend upon Wave. They start to contribute to Wave, the project grows with new collaborators and multiple releases, with an aim to graduate in, say 6 months * the Wave community chooses to move to an alternative hosting environment that better suits its level of activity These are topics that should be discussed amongst the community here, and mentioned in the board report also.
