Welcome to the FD.io/VPP community! Thanks for your recent
contributions to VPP.
I noticed that you submitted gerrit change 47056 "build: Changes in
makefiles to enabe build on FreeBSD" [0]. The VPP CI does not have a
job which builds VPP on FreeBSD, so I have no way to verify your gerrit
change(s) on FreeBSD. Based on your fix, it would appear there is has
been some bit-rot due to the lack of feedback from downstream consumers
deploying VPP on FreeBSD (in addition to the lack of CI support).
I have cc'd Tom Jones, the author of the port of VPP to FreeBSD and
maintainer of the vpp netmap plugin, to see if he can help.
Unfortunately his email on [email protected]
([email protected]) is bouncing.
If you are able to share you goals and use case for VPP on FreeBSD, that
would be great!
