Eeh, we haven't previously advertised support for VLAN tags on af_packet before; I could believe it was a missing feature, but I have a harder time accepting it was a bug.
I'm not strongly against the merge (though I do have a preference for strongly encouraging people to keep up with releases at this time), but I do want us to be clear about the disposition of this change.
