this only applies to those in opposition to your views (tea/right wing... which

And before anyone says "who are you to tell anyone what to do", I learned my
lesson before, and will point out that I was not the one saying in effect,
"don't let the door hit you on the way out." I am not the only one here capable
of being a jackass, it seems.

There was civility, now tempers have flared. Both sides in remarks have shown
just how far we have to go, if we are to ever get out of this mess. Let me
suggest you go do an experiment, learn something, or do something productive,
and keep the junk off of this list. Or let's talk about something interesting.
Don't give us the OFF-TOPIC excuse either. It's clear what it is from the
posting styles; "we can whine, but you can't, 'cause you're just a meanie and
we don't agree with you."

Don't want to go there? Why? Don't want to filter the mess out? Too hard to

Think of those points before replying and saying I/we could just ignore the off
topic posts. And as I said, rules are rules, whether you're a bleeding heart,
let's steal from the worker to pay incredible pensions so we can afford the red
lacquer paint for the tractor, or if you're draped in a teabag uniform with a
shirt that looks scarily like the V INGSOC*** logo screaming about getting the
nation back to it's 'rightful heritage' and how Obama is the antichrist.
I like gyroscopes, but damn if they aren't like politics. Just the tiniest
provocation and you precess to the left or to the right with little chance of
stopping the spinning juggernaut before it does some real damage.
