One, possibly trivial, way to fix this would be to change the behavior
(or display) of the 'fullscreen' checkbox on the viewer popup menu that
results from a right click on the toolbar host session icon.
Here are some suggestions:
1) grey out the 'fullscreen' checkbox when the host session is actually
minimized.
or
2) only display the 'fullscreen' checkbox option when the host session is
actually maximized.
The basic problem for the user is that 'fullscreen' is confused with
'maximized'. Simplify the interface and remove the confusion; might be
easier than modifying your message loop for permutations of minimized,
maximized, fullscreen mode, & window mode. Just a thought.
