With NT you can use the NT Resource Kit to manipulate the
registry - that's if you've got admin permissions.
For 9x, I'm not sure, although I know you can install an option to
give some sort of remote access through Regedit. With 95/98,
access to the registry from the client end isn't really an issue, as
there is no security on the machine (unlike NT).
