2 of the servers are nt4 and 1 is w2k. My workstation is w2k
professional. I have tried changing one of the servers to a higher and
lower resolution but still can't connect (but oddly enough it prompts
for the password). I have also chnanged my display to higher and lower
resolution and screen sizes. I also tried connecting to another server
(successful) and ran vncviewer from there, same thing. Oddly enough, I
can still connect to some of my other servers.

Everything was working fine, never had any problems until recently. I
am looking to what has changed. I am now running w2k (but have been for
2 1/2 weeks). I changed internet access from using Wingate to a Linksys
Cable/DSL router (again over 2 weeks ago). I installed pcAnywhere 9.2
last week. Last week is when the problem started. I also get a message
during boot-up that aw_host.sys is have compatibility problems with my
video driver and cannot run in acelerated mode so its changing to
compatibility mode.

Yes, I mean the video settings on the system running VNC Server, not
your
desktop. From your message, I assumed the OS on the system running the
VNC
server was W2K. Something about the Windows 2000 VGA and WinVNC Server
just don't quite mesh. Is this right?

I have WinVNC server running on 5 NT 4.0 boxes and 2 Windows 2000 Server

boxes. My system OS is Windows 2000 Professional. The only problems I
have had connecting from my machine to my servers has been with the 2K
boxes and that was fixed by the instructions I sent you. I'm also
running
WinVNC 3.3.3r7.

Is your problem different?
