Over the past few weeks, I can no longer open vnc sessions to some
servers (but not all). It seems I connect since I am prompted for a
password but the screen never opens. My OS is Windows 2000... I open
task manager and find many instances of vncviewer running (from my
repeated attempts) and end these tasks. I have gotten one error a
couple of times when doing this that says ReadExact: Socket error while
reading. Does anyone know what could be wrong or how to resolve this?
