I'm trying to get out of our network to my home machine. Up till 2 months
ago going thru the same firewall, I had no problems. Then we did a software
upgrade here at work to the firewall and I can't connect. My problem is more
with the configuration on the firebox than with any specific problem with
VNC.

Some background info: My home machine has a static ip. I am also running an
ftp server on it and can connect and authenticate fine. So the firewall
isn't blocking the ip address and its at least allowing the ftp port thru.
We also have an ISDN line here at work with a stand alone machine. I
installed VNC on the stand alone machine and can connect fine. So the
problem isn't with the setup at home. Problem is that machine isn't handy
and when you're used to DSL speeds, ISDN is slow.

Within the firewall I've attempted to allow TCP ports 5900 & 5800 thru.
However since I can't connect there's no way to check that it is indeed
allowing those ports thru.

Any ideas on how to configure this so it works?

Thanks
