I think you'd better use a config file. Move the client window to where you want. Make it fullscreen and save the config file. Make your button to call vncviewer to open this config file.
FYI, inside the config file, you should have FullScreen=1 and Monitor=\\.\DISPLAYx where x is your left monitor number. But whether it's horizontal span or not, I don't think you could do much with it. This is a hardware setup. You have to configure it first.
