Hi All,

I am using krdc (KDE's remote desktop client) to connect to a WinXP box which
is running RealVNC as a service. Although I have selected not to show the
wallpaper/background on the server, to economise on the bandwidth, I keep
seeing a badly dithered wallpaper every time I logon. The reason I am trying
to disable the wallpaper is that the server's ISP (NTL in the UK) has very
high contention ratio and at busy times terribly poor speeds. A 2M adsl line
is performing as a dial up!

Do you know if it is possible to switch off the wallpaper and how?

Regards,
Mick
