The Aftershokz headphones use bone conduction to transmit the sound
waves. They don't go in your hears at all, so they don't interfere with
your ability to hear what's going on around you.
You can use them to listen to music, but the sound quality isn't as good
as non-bone conducting headphones. You're trading off sound quality a
bit for the ability to hear what's going on around you.
There is some noise bleed, so people around you can hear some sound
coming from your headphones. How much they can hear depends on how close
they are and how loud you have the volume set.

Hi Chris,
I want to be able to hear what's around me when I'm walking and
especially when crossing streets. Are these bluez ajustable for ones
head? So when wearing these aftershock bluez headphones, people around
you can hear what's being said through the headphones? And there really
not for listening to music.
What is the difference between the bluez afterschock headphones and the
bone conduction headphones? Can you explain what the bone conduction
headphones can do? Thanks.
