it probably depends on what headphones you have and from what country.
As was sad here different standards in different countries so the ones
you have you may well not be able to turn off what you wish but others
possibly you could.
I agree tsuch settting can be restrictive but manufactures are really
terrified of being sued!

* In the search box, type, headphone notifications and hit the search button to
