If I listened to all my bard books at normal speed, it would take me forever to get a lot of reading done. If people are having trouble withthe bard mobile app, then maybe they should go back to the nls player. I just found several cases of flash drives full of bard books to listen to. Good luck.

The bug was well reported to NLS during the Beta process. I was on the Beta test group. I was surprised Bard put in the app with the known bug. I personally think they should have waited until it was fixed.
Just after that I think one of the beta testers realized that, at least in most cases, the head sets would work if the speed was set to 100 percent, or normal. I never use normal unless it is a language or music lesson. Apparently this was true of the other Beta testers as none of us caught it for some time.
I would hope with the early knowledge of the bug, and now this additional info it can be resolved.
In the meantime does anyone know if the latest Metta Ray Bands work with Bard when in faster speeds?

This is the kind of bug that would be very hard to catch before release as many people have headsets that work fine no matter the speed. I hope this gets fixed soon. I know that many users are not as lucky as Josh and report that they can’t use their headsets. I don’t think this app with the bug should have replaced the Bard mobil app until it was fixed. It has been found that it relates to the speed setting on the app. Make the speed normal and many head sets work. But, many of us read books at speeds far beyond the normal, setting. This is a costly bug as I expect many folks are looking for headsets to purchase that work, when we really don’t need another expensive headset.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see a new update when ios 18 comes out. I don’t have a big problem with this issue. Most of my headphones do when I hit a button.
