Mitch, I just took another look.
The number of photos that your camera app reports and the number in the internal storage I think are different because if you have Live Photos turned on in the Camera app itself, it creates a 3 second mov file to capture any movement in the photo which gives it a more dynamic look I guess. So, you may have a photo ending in .jpg and another with the same name before the extension .mov. The .mov files seem to be slightly larger than the jpg file and unless you are sharing with a sighted person, I’m not sure if it makes any difference. But, you will find some other extensions possibly like .heic or .aae which I know nothing about. I think the heic is a very high quality format that is quite a lot larger than jpg. And since there are a lot of subfolders in the internal storage, you would have to go through each one and decide what you want to copy. I used Jaws Picture smart to identify a few, but that is a very time consuiming process. Good luck. You may also want to talk with Apple about this. Richard, USA "INTROVERTS UNITE ... Hi all I was trying to get picks and vidiows off my I phone prowe 14 max. I have manage to get a few off of them but I have gotten into the storage part of the I phone when plugging it into the pc running windows 10 and some times it says that there are stuff in there and other times it says 0 items. It also is giving me the error [Window Title] Error Copying File or Folder [Content] The requested value cannot be determined. Why is it giving me this arror? And what can I do to fix it I have tried re starting the phone, and un pluging it and re pluging it in from my laptop and each time some times it will be reconised by windows another times it wonte show up and there are a bunch of different folders there around 58 and some of them have 0 items and others have jpg images. I have found around 6 so far of my picks and vidiows but according to my camra role I have around 425 so where would all of those picks be in my phone? Since I was kind of hopeing to move them to a folder on my external Toshiba hd. Many thanks. From Mich Verrier from New lIskeard Ontario Canada.
