I wonder if it prorates automatically, and then just charges the difference, or leaves credit on your account for next time automatically, depending on how early in the billing cycle you do it. I know they aren't necessarily as hard about the refund situation as one has been lead to believe in the past, or maybe the rules have changed since then. I had forgotten to get rid of a trial to an app I decided I didn't want a whole year of, submitted the refund form on their site, using the option that I did not want it renewed, or whatever the wording actually says to that effect, and they did refund me.
