My main email addresses are not on my iPhone, so that might be 1 of the differences. This was discussing forwarding a text message to a PC so, the steps I laid out is exactly how it worked for me. Also when the text messages were forwarded to the PC they were not in the email, they were text messages attached to the emails. As for your subject line not showing, do you have the subject line set to show in Settings / Message app?
