Hi Holly, Yes that is probably right,
I do know that Samsung had a feature in their android phones that allowed you to set that up so that all text messages were automatically sent on as / to emails. I have tried this years ago with I think it was a Samsung galaxy s4 may be, But it was a long time ago. I can’t see why they wouldn’t have kept it in their phones.
