Hi folks, I bought a new iPhone XR and I can't set it up. First I tried the quick start as suggested by apple by putting it next to my old phone, , and it did not work. I then tried to set it up using the iTunes to no avail. Now I am stuck. I can't even get it to go into recovery mode to wipe it clean. What do you suggest I do? When I do the command for recovery mode, I get a message on iTunes telling me that iTunes cannot connect to the iPhone until I enter a passcode. Try again or cancel. I never had a problem like this with apple products. Could it be that my phone is defective or is there something wrong with the new iPhone compatibility with the iTunes? Any ideas will be appreciated.
