Hi Ana, For the iPhone, you do not need a code. However, you must contact your carrier and request the unlock. Your carrier will release you and contact apple directly on your behalf. When you get an email from your carrier with instruction to unlock your phone, it means that they have already contacted apple And entered your phone’s info in the apple database. You only need to do restore via iTunes and your phone will be unlocked. Just look for the message congratulating you that your phone has been unlocked.
