I have a mini too. Now I am sure your grandkids are not going to be using
voiceover, and maybe that will help. The mini two is getting slow. It still
works, although I feel confident that it has just seen its last update. I feel
sure that when the new iOS comes out next year, the mini two will not be on
board. Can't prove it of course. I also understand that you probably don't want
to buy a really expensive thing for kids, depending on how old they are and how
will they take care of stuff. But the mini four should have more years of
upgrade in it than the mini twoo, at least one more year. And there might be
good deals on that coming down the line.
