If it is possible to keep the iPhone as secure as it is and give access to the file system or at least maybe limited access for adding music and so on I am all for it. As far as other app stores I don’t think we’ll ever see that. I'd like there to be an "expert" mode, where • JIT is usable in all apps • Apps can be sideloaded and other app stores, like cydia, can be installed • filesystem is exposed to the user within an app • There are more keyboard commands, and all of iOS can be controlled with the keyboard regardless of the activity of voiceover. 2. A speech API which apps can use to make their voices available systemwide, including for Siri. Having Alex as a Siri voice should help as well. This will also force the speech developers at Apple to focus on Alex more. 3. Allowing formatting, like italics, headings, links, buttons, ect to be showing in braille, using braille symbols, similar to how the braille note handled links, by surrounding them in formatting. 4. Allow apps to be moved by tapping on them, then tapping where one wants to move the app. 5. Allow spell checking similar to text sellection, swipe left and right to choose a word, up and down to choose correction. 6. Within a book, or large chunk of text, mark braille position, so that when a notification comes in, then disappears, braille moves back to that marked position in the text.
