That's a very interesting discovery. And I wonder why? (it's not a
3rd-party keyboard)

Thanks for the help, everyone, I figured out the problem. I regularly
type my passwords using braille screen input, since it's way faster
with mixed case and numbers. It looks like the Paypal app won't un-dim
the Log In button until the actual, on-screen keyboard is used,
instead of when text is typed via any source. As soon as I entered my
password using the on-screen keyboard, everything worked as expected.
Lesson learned: BSI is great, but not every app fully supports it.

Hi Alex,
Sorry you're having so much trouble signing in. I just signed into
the app, but I am using an iPhone 6 on 8.3. I followed the
instructions that Wren gave and had no problems signing in and
activating my finger touch ID. Do you think it's worth a try in
deleting the app and reinstalling it?. Just a thought.
Best,
Eileen

Thing is, I see nothing on the screen except the dimmed login
button, the two text fields, a Help button, and a toggle to show or
hide my password. I expected there to be more to it, but that's all
I can find. Very odd. Sadly, too, my phone lacks TouchID.

Hi Alex and all, there should be an account button on your app if
you press that you will be taken to the login. This is how it
worked for me anyway. You can also set up PayPal to use touch ID to
login. If you need more help please let me know and I will go in
the app and figure it out again. God bless, Wren Langley PS I think
that when you press this account button you will be given the
options for setting up the touch ID.

Hello list,
I'm trying to use the Paypal app for the first time in a long
time. I see my name and email address, and a field for a password.
I type the password--which I just updated, so I know it's
right--and that's all I can do. The enter key on the keyboard does
nothing, and the Log In button remains "dimmed", no matter what I
do. I've tapped it anyway, I've tried to scroll to see if an error
message appeared somewhere off-screen, I've tried the button with
the keyboard visible *and* hidden… I'm not sure what the problem
could be. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this a VoiceOver problem;
that is, would a sighted person be able to hit the button and log
me in? Thanks for any help.
