Sorry, didn't see the earlier email. I have gotten it to work with
previous versions of VirtualBox but in the current version (2.1.0 I
think?) the Passthrough option for optical drives is broken. There is
a bug report on it and it seems to be fixed in SVN but I'm not sure
when that will translate into a released version.
