I'm curious as to he symptoms... does the Windows NERO version just say "everything is fine, DVD has been written" and then the DVD is unreadable? Or does NERO show any error along the way? never? not even buffer underrun? How about Data DVD-R sessions? If you check the option to verify written data, does it verify OK? I'm having trouble thinking of DVD-Writers as stupid peripherals that just accept any given data (even if the data is corrupted along the way) without spiting out any error messages...
