I'll help you any way that I can. I'll give you my code if you want. I was just double checking to see what conditions called that method. Oddly, it's not when that page is rendered.
My app has a page with links to several other pages. One of those links is to the page with the jquery datatable. When the page with the links is rendered setupRender() is called on my data table page.
