To be honest, I thought tapestry had a very bad documentation too when I
first started reading about it. I had to watch every screencast and turned
google code upside down to collect bits and pieces from here and there to
output a decent functioning web application.

But the potential kept me going and I never removed from my mind the idea
that howard did all this all alone, at least in the very beginning. He wrote
the docs, tutorials...and before all that..the code !!

I can confidentially say that my professionalism with j2ee compared with
real world applications is like....nothing :D

My advice to ale, read the IoC documentation first...its LOADS of text and
will take time to read, you may not get it all at first but I hope you are
luckier that me and understand what you read the first time you read it :)

Basically you will be dazzled when you find out how smart (dynamic
and resourceful) and insightful tapestry is. To me, tapestry dissected the
concept of a web application into much smaller concepts, and it offers you
even multiple ways to utilize these interacting concepts. (i.e. the left
side of tapestry home page, the User Guide)

It will take time to understand tapestry, at least for me. But I can't get
rid of the idea of hosting it on GAE and the potential of it !

That's a lots of talking, but its an open discussion I suppose :D
