I am a wicket programmer(turning into a tapestry programmer)  and I find
tapestry just wonderful... It is not only a framework but if a person peeks
more into the source code he/she can become a better java programmer..

Yes for beginners it lacks documentation... but that makes you peek more
into the source code and that is something a person has to learn when
working with open source projects...

There are a number of extensions available. Just checkout their source
code...

How novice a person has to be to call any framework garbage... You don't
like it don't use it...
