Hi martin, I have been using T5 since a few weeks and it has been great! The increased productivity is really amazing and i haven't faced major bugs. However i couldn't tell u anything about performance and scalability. My application is still pretty basic and runs smoothly...but it's not enough to say that i will recommend to to use tapestry 5 in a production environment.
