As I've noted before, though, I think we should include this in the
default config, so that SURBL and URIBL can list sub-sites of sites like
geocities.com and googlepages.com effectively. (It may be only URIBL
now, but I'm sure Jeff would be happy to include SURBL too.)

There are many good reasons to not blacklist abused freehost
subdomains. It's been discussed on the SURBL discussion list and
elsewhere.
nobody is talking about listing the main domain. Its the "subdomains"
which should be getting nailed.
no need to list googlepages.com
just list unwanted.googlepages.com
same applies to others like blogspot or tripod
