I'm on : SpamAssassin version 3.1.4 running on Perl version 5.8.8
with Postfix and amavisd-new-2.4.2 (20060627) I get a couple of errors when I run sa-update -D: [8798] dbg: diag: module not installed: Net::Ident ('require' failed) [8798] dbg: diag: module not installed: IO::Socket::INET6 ('require' failed) I've tried to get these installed via MCPAN but, haven't had much luck, that's another issue I don't believe, is affecting this one..... I'm pretty new to sa-update, I've used RulesDuJour in the past. I see that sa-update put's its rules in /var/lib/spamassassin/3.001004/updates_spamassassin_org? My rules have always been in /usr/share/spamassassin? Is that right? Or do I need to re-direct them? I had a backup of my rules so, I just restored them for the time being. -----Original Message----- From: Nigel Frankcom [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, January 02, 2007 10:56 AM To: users@spamassassin.apache.org Subject: Re: sa-update problem... Mine lint's clean here (3.1.7). Have you checked that any rules from rules emporium are up to date? I did get a couple of warns after the previous update but they've disappeared with this one.
