Actually, it is legal. The trailing '.' simply means that the DNS reference is absolute regardless of context. The trailing '/' only denotes the root of the server's web page tree. BTW. that domain belongs to or is serviced by iMedia (at least the DNS) - a complaint to them will get you taken off that list (no arguments about list-washing, please).
