Also, it will not change every six weeks, like Thunderbird! I have
been using it on Linux for a couple of months, and I like it, having
gotten a bit PO'd at Thunderbird.
Try it and see for yourself--it's free.

Doug,
I am currently using Thunderbird 45.0 under Slackware Linux 14.1 and it
does allow printing the address book. Bring up the Address Book and
select File | Print Address Book...
It also has options to print a single contact or print preview either
option.
I agree the frequent updates are a PITA, and I am not sure they are all
needed security updates. It is only slightly better than, ugh, the
Flash plugin. However, I usually do monthly backups and install
security upgrades from Slackware after the backup. Therefore, my TB
updates are on a monthly rate. So what if I miss an intermediate
update. I am only "missing something" for two weeks.
I have been using TB for years and I find that it is easy to use and
configuration has gotten very easy lately. On a new installation, it is
now "automagically" going out to my ISP and getting the server names and
configuration to use, but it can be manually changed if need be. That
is hard to beat.
Use whatever tool fits your hand.
