I have, but I haven't found any user-callable function(s) to get the info 
listed below in a running MPMD program.  I can do this with the PMI interface 
for the Cray MPICH2 implementation but cannot find anything equivalent for 
OpenMPI.

Hi Frank
Check 'man mpiexec', the --app file option, maybe also --rankfile.
The on process binding at the end may also help.
