  Version 36.0.4 is still running just fine. In order to keep it from
updating I have removed the update directory and files that it
automatically created and downloaded. I realize this is a bit heavy
handed, and might not even work, but I really don't want version 37 on
this system again. I have also used about:config to make the change
above. I'll be sure to let every one know what comes of this (yes, I
have other systems in case my actions turn this great machine into a
pile of smoking rubble).
