Upgraded f21 XFCE.

nm-applet is running:

   ps aux | grep nm-applet
user 2856 0.0 0.3 644532 29480 ? Sl 11:25 0:00
nm-applet

but there's no icon at the top of the screen.

Of course, this means the only way to control NetworkManager is
nmcli, which requires a trip to the man page each time.

If I stop and start nm-applet I get the Connection Established
bubble, but no icon.

Thanks for any help.

This is a gtk3 bug. ;(

Update to the version in updates-testing that has the problem commit
reverted:

yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update gtk3

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208183 has all the
details.

Thanks. Worked.

sean

Well, sort of worked.

On a resume after hibernate, nm-applet doesn't start. If I start nm-applet from the commmand line, that works and i get the icon.
