Kernels on a systemd-boot configured system are installed on an ESP partition, which mounts to /boot/efi/, and requires a significantly larger ESP partition to fit kernels and initrds than an ESP for use only for several or less smaller grub file(s) and/or similarly small Windows bootloader files. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science.
