Actually there was still a problem.
Even though Wifi was back on,
the router was still not connecting to the Midco-tivo.
Made no sense to me, so I finally called tech support.
Turns out, Midco-tivo does not use Wifi, it uses Moca.
Tech suport turned it on, but still no go,
so she scheduled a technician to come over.
Turns out, tech support had not turned on Moca.
I think the router might have lied to her about that.
The technician did get Moca turned back on
and all was right with that part of the world.

Of course, had I known or suspected Moca was the issue,
I'd have tried to turn it on myself.
