I tried with the latest build of iOS on the iPad. Everything works except the mic on the iPad.
I also tested from 10.15.6 Mac using Safari 13.1.2. I couldn’t hear the sound from either mic. It seems safari is doing something to prevent the mic access. it does say iPad for mic and internal mic on the Mac.
