Well, OM is called via https:5443.
There’s a mic/cam in the system. It worked on this computer some days before in
home office.
I never needed to install any addon before.

There’s one more option.

It’s „Windows 10 bullshit operating system“. Even identical computers differ in
the way they behave 😉

At least i can exclude „Network“ orf „Firewall“ from my list.

I will do some more testing…

Best wishes

This part is very specific
It requires server for recording and playback only
So firewall can't affect it

The situation you are describing is possible if
1 Om is accessed via http
2 there is no mic/cam in the system
3* since it is win10 maybe some multimedia addon is not installed?

Yes, it’s video settings. I clock on „Check setup“

There’s no image oft he cam right to the „Choose webcam“. Also there’s no green
sound bar visible.

This area is „clean“.

As I understand we are talking about video settings dialog?
And user can see only small picture and picture disappear if he/she changes the
resolution?

Thx Maxim,

the strange thing is, that all users have the same computer with the same
Windows 10 image.

There never was something like this (dimensions)

It worked fine for this customer in the home office.

The others did not have a problem with the settings.

I just took one of those computers to test.

Just to understand – if i go into settings – the image i (should) see, does
not have to do something with „network or firewall“?

It is a „local“ image coming from the browser?

Because the customer was able to see and hear me in a meeting, coming from home
office.

Best wishes

Maybe problem is caused by the current pre-set dimensions are incompatible with
client camera?
You can add custom dimensions to the list
But I'm not sure how to get the list of compatibles :(
Maybe check the manual for laptop or camera?
Or try external camera first

Hello,

we are using / testing OM since about two weeks.

Currently i have a user in LAN that is not able to see a video setting
up the devices?

Firewall should not be the problem because i had a conference with
another user behind the same firewall.

This user ha a „still image" oft he cam. Trying different settings /
resolutions the image got totally lost.

In Camera App of win 10 there's an image.

Reboot and cache delete did not change anything.

We are using Firefox 75.0/64.

Any idea how to test out for the cause oft he problem?
