Hi Folks, I'm trying to get started with UML. I'm currntly blocked at the networking level.
The first thing that I noticed is that bringing up eth0 failed. Is that normal? Then when enter the following command: ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.253 up i get the following error message: SIOCSIFADDR: No such device eth0: unknown interface: No such device eth0: unknown interface: No such device Any idea? The host OS is centos5 (uname -r: 2.6.18-53.1.19.el5). I have even trued to rebuild build the kernel but it didn't help. Any help would be much appreciated.
