Yup. Must have been other mouse messages/functions that were tried. It used to be way back that folks would create drag routines that relied on the state of the mouse. But mouse polling was deemed as quite inefficient, and was unreliable. IIRC, this is why the grab command was created. Of course, things have changed a lot in LiveCode.
