Okay so was messing about on the web yesterday and found out that Firefox's web store existed. Decided to take it for a spin with its HTML5 solitaire app. Clicked install and it gives me a chrome less window that also had a launcher item separate from Firefox itself. This was in 12.04.
Needless to say, I think they nailed it. We need to be on their level. When I launch from the dash, I want that with Unity integration... if I'm just randomly browsing, it shouldn't have an effect on my launcher. On my phone so just sending basic link for checking out: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/apps/ Also, I haven't done extensive testing of all apps yet. Will do so when I have more free time and am basing this email almost exclusively on that solitaire app. On Jan 15, 2013 7:07 AM, "Matthew Paul Thomas" <m...@canonical.com> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Alex Launi wrote on 10/01/13 15:38: > > > > On Jan 10, 2013, at 10:26 AM, Yann Brelière > > <yannbreli...@gmail.com <mailto:yannbreli...@gmail.com>> wrote: > > > >> Like Jonathan said, I think Jeremy Bicha's suggestions were good: > >> I like the idea of having additional integration for my mails, > >> music, etc. But I don't want to clutter my launcher just because > >> I have a tab open. > > > > Why not?
