FYI: I realise that this bug has been marked as 'Won't Fix', but providing what details I can in case this is looked into again (with 12.04 being LTS and the release likely to be adopted by enterprise customers requiring paid support).
Experiencing sporadic full system freeze/crash - approximately 2-4 times weekly. No mouse or trackpad response (no cursor movement), no keyboard response. System will not halt as normal when closing the laptop lid. Recovery requires hard shutdown/reboot. Linux Mint 14 and Ubuntu Studio (Xubuntu) run on the same laptop (multiboot) without this bug occurring. Haven't experienced the same bug running Raring live from USB.
