Yes, without any additional work it isn't useful. I used the "Ultra-clean article" option [1] and so the tex file had only a few differences to the necessary format. The \section, \subsection was ok, but all the \menu, \button, \window and so on commands, were not created (of course) by default. But there is the possibility to create an own configuration file [2] where you can define all these commands. The requirement for this would be, that there are used specific templates in OOo for commands, menus and so on. The question is, if this effort would be useful to create such a configuration file and a OOo document template. It depends on the fraction of OOo authors / tex authors and/or OOo pages / tex pages...
