There was recently some discussion about translations in universe being a problem, but all of the universe items have been rejected and asked to be integrated upstream. This means: everything in the sponsoring queue can now be sponsored just as usual. It will be up to your discretion to either run dch and edit-patch and explain or ask the contributor to do it.
